Beliefs Part 1 – You Are What You Believe

Everyone believes in something. Like your diet affects your body, your beliefs affect in your mind and heart. You are what you believe. The hope is that as we evolve and mature, we learn to evaluate what we believe and how we got there. More importantly, are there any beliefs we have outgrown or perhaps are no longer serving us? In the work I do, I see that many beliefs are limiting us. This is why I want to talk about our beliefs. So join me for the start of my series on beliefs. You’ll hear me share my own journey, explain how to take inventory of your beliefs, and let go of the fears that fuel your false beliefs.

As I listen to people in various stages and seasons of their journey, one common theme keeping people stuck is a mindset with limiting beliefs. When we address our mindset, we change our world. And I want every human to live the life that only they can live. More importantly, our world needs us to show up authentically, and is waiting for us to so.

You are what you believe

Beliefs are critical because they are about our identity. Our beliefs speak to what we are made to do, who we are, what we can accomplish, and even what we are worthy of.

In this series, you will hear from people in all walks of life wrestle and grapple with their beliefs. How they have recognized false beliefs and replaced them with new ones. Beliefs that allow them to confidently step into their lives in new ways. And what they anchor their beliefs on. For many of us, this is about our faith. I have found that my faith is what “roots” my beliefs and helps me identify the false ones and the true ones that often feel too good to be true.

So, I’m starting this series on Beliefs with a solo podcast to set the table for what’s to come. 

Wherever you are in your life and whatever you believe, my hope is you will get something out of this and be encouraged by listening to various people talk about their growth and challenges around what they believe.
