This is for all of you out there who find yourselves dragging through the day (You mean it’s only 10 a.m.? How can I already be exhausted?), or for those who have a hard time falling asleep at night. I want to suggest a technique I’ve been using for years:
Create a routine.
We’ve heard so many studies on the value of sleep health and stress management. Maybe you’ve struggled to slow down long enough to really take in the importance of these two things and the effects they have on the body.
If you’ve read my book, you know about the bedtime routine we created when my daughter was young because it was hard for her sensitive soul to settle down so she could fall asleep. These routines aren’t only for toddlers. Years later, I created my own rituals and now, I start and end my day the same way 365 days of the year.In the video below I share my morning and evening routines – along with advice on what NEVER to do right before you go to bed.
